This is the second Radio Broadcasting Workshop by KATADROM in cooperation with the Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Communication and The Media and Communications Department.
As the first radio workshop project held last semester, you will be able to create your own radio show, express yourself, work with an international team and get broadcasting experience at this workshop created by KATADROM Arts and Culture Project of Exchange and RadyoVesaire of the Istanbul Bilgi University, FC. The only difference of the second radio workshop project is that it will only contain workshops and broadcasting opportunities. A competition between the programmers will not be held this time to let the programmers focus more on their programs and not be distracted by the competition of it. This will raise the quality of the radio programs by creating a more comfortable and creative space for the participants of the workshop.
All the programmers and teams of the project will receive certificate for their participation.
For participating you do not need to have any radio experience but enthusiasm to learn about it and the motivation to improve your skills. The workshop is free of charge and open to Turkish and exchange students in Istanbul. There are eight free places. The workshop will take place at the Santral İstanbul Campus of the Istanbul Bilgi University.
The workshop will be supervised by Ariana Ferentinou, lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University and lead by Berk Büyükbalci, graduate in Istanbul Bilgi University, Television Reporting and Programming Department. And Arın Yeniaras, who has numerous experience and very valuable information about radio broadcasting to share with you during the workshops. We will start with an introduction day in March into radio broadcasting where the participants will be forming teams of two people each. Those teams will create their own radio shows. Those shows will be broadcasted from March to June. In the end of the workshop a certificate of participation will be given to the broadcasters of the programs.

2. Part of the Workshop: Recapitulation of broadcasted shows: 17th of March 2013 11am – 3pm at the Santral Campus of the Istanbul Bilgi University.
(There will be ongoing workshops during the broadcasting period of the project)
Broadcasting shows: From March until June Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Participants: Exchange Students and Turkish students. Eight in total.
Reward: All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
