Creating a life radio show and broadcasting it for three months in teams. The best team will be on a professional radio.

 This is the first Radio Broadcasting Workshop and Competition by KATADROM in cooperation with the Istanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Communication.

Create your own radio show, express yourself, work with an international team and get broadcasting experience at this workshop created by KATADROM Arts and Culture Project of Exchange and RadyoVesaire of the Istanbul Bilgi University, FC.

The creators of the best show developed and broadcasted at the workshop will have the chance of being part of a life – show at a professional, international radio station.

For participating you do not need to have any radio experience but enthusiasm to learn about it and the motivation to improve your skills. The workshop is free of charge and open to Turkish and exchange students in Istanbul. There are eight free places. The workshop will take place at the Santral Campus of the Istanbul Bilgi University.

The workshop will be supervised by Ariana Ferentinou, lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University and lead by Berk Büyükbalci, graduate in Istanbul Bilgi University, Television Reporting and Programming Department. We will start with an introduction day on the 6^th of October into radio broadcasting  where the participants will be forming teams of two people each. Those teams will create their own life – shows, five in total. Those shows will be broadcasted from October to December. In the end of the workshop a silent jury will decide on the winning team that will have the chance of being on a professional international radio.

 1. Part of the Workshop:  Introduction Day and forming of the teams: 6^th of October 12, 11am – 3pm at the Santral Campus of the Istanbul Bilgi University

 2. Part of the Workshop: Recapitulation of broadcasted shows: 3^rd of November 12, 11am – 3pm at the Santral Campus of the Istanbul Bilgi University.

 Broadcasting shows: From October until December Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5 in total by each team.

Participants: Exchange Students and Turkish students. Eight in total.

Competition: The best team gets a chance of broadcasting in a professional international radio
